Green living individuals is one of the fast growing minority groups in the U.S. and are responsive to many environmentally conscience direct mail offers. This segment of the population represents nearly 30% of U.S. households totally just over 61million homes. This segment uses environmentally healthy products and services such as, eco-friendly soaps, detergents, and household cleaning products. These households eat organic foods, with many growing some of their food themselves. Many are socially active and donate to environmental causes. Some of them drive vehicles that are considered 'green' or hybrids.

The Green Living Database is also enhanced with a variety of demographic elements which empowers the mailer to select or omit portions of this audience that simply do not fit your direct mail offer. Over 60% of the Green Living households earn more than $50,000 annually. And over 77% of the people are between the ages 26 and 66, with over 48% between the ages of 42 and 61.

Because of the sheer size of this database, and that it's enhanced with other demographic data, the Green Living Database is ideal for direct mail campaign segmentation. Brian Berg, President of BB Direct explains, "It only makes sense to segment your traditional mailings and identify the 'green living' individuals." Doing so allows the mailer to create a different, "greener" versioned mail piece and/or offer. Berg says, "I'm an advocate for variable print technology. By versioning your campaign to appeal to the various naturally occurring segments with your larger mailing audience, you can better connect with your prospect population and gain lift in response."

BB Direct is a mailing list brokerage and can be located in Cape Coral Florida. To learn more on how BB Direct can improve your next direct mail marketing campaign, visit them on the web at www.bbdirect.com.
