MAGIX Sees Growth in the Professional Sector
MAGIX continues to focus on development of the professional segment. Re-alignment within the organization will be implemented to provide customer-oriented support and sales. More employees will be made available to support professional products such as Samplitude.

"To be able to grow internationally we are adjusting our organization. Customer-oriented support and sales structures are of particular focus in this area. Sales have therefore been decentralized, thus utilizing the existing international structures of the consumer segment. While previously there were only three employees available for a product such as Samplitude, there now are eight employees dedicated to national and international sales. They are assisted by three support employees at our Berlin headquarters, who are available to help our customers and sales team with their expertise. This enables us to achieve the necessary support for our professional customers," says Patrick Peeters, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing at MAGIX.
MAGIX has held a leading position among providers of professional software solutions for the audio applications sector. Samplitude and Sequoia are used by TV and broadcasting companies and mastering studios like Sterling Sound. The upcoming release of Sequoia and Samplitude 11, marks the latest generation of MAGIX's flagship audio products, further establishing MAGIX international presence in the professional audio sector.
Both audio products are of particular strategic interest to MAGIX CEO Jürgen Jaron: "Although Samplitude and Sequoia currently only make up a relatively small share of our group's revenues they are of fundamental value to MAGIX. Not only do they reflect our historic roots as a software provider, far more they also demonstrate our ability to innovate in order to continuously meet the highest demands in the professional and consumer segment."
The product releases of Video Pro X and Xara Xtreme Pro bolster MAGIX’s video and photo & graphics portfolio and will enhance the professional business sector in the second half of the year. MAGIX distinguishes itself with these products from other manufacturers, in particular by offering attractive prices.
Revenues of the Professional segment decreased during the first half of the current fiscal year due to the ending release cycle, MAGIX expects a considerable upswing in the professional business resulting in higher gross margins over the second six months.
