Unlimited-Use National Change of Address (NCOA) Now Available Through BB Direct
BB Direct now offers an online self-serve tool that gives users the ability to upload their mailing list for immediate and automatic NCOALink processing.
(Vocus/PRWEB ) April 13, 2009 -- BB Direct, provider of mailing list products and database hygiene services now offers their B-Clean Lite database hygiene product through a password protected FTP site platform. There branded B-Clean Lite product includes a series of database processes to include, Address Standardization, CASS Certification, 18-Month NCOALink process, and ANKLink process. Traditionally, this service if provided at a cost of $25.00 per order for mailing list files with less than 1 million records. The new unlimited-use FTP site platform provider user unlimited access to an online FTP site folder and 12 month access for only $995.00.
Brian Berg, President of BB Direct explains that their new product is beneficial for both the medium and large mail service provide. He says, "Online customers can access their folder 24/7 and correct addresses on the fly which gives project handles more flexibility with their campaign schedules."
The demand for address correction has increased due to the Move Update requirements of the USPS. Before November 23, 2008, Standard Mail (formally known as Bulk Mail) required a minimum Move Update processing every 185 days. Since then, the minimum frequency has been reduced to 95 days making an unlimited-use service instantly more valuable.
Bundled with the 18-Month NCOALink is the ANKLink process. Since the 18-Month does not correct those records that have changed previous to 18 months, the ANKLink process flags those moved records from 18 to 48 months, tells the mailer when they've moved, and enables the mailer tend to bad/uncorrected mailing addresses. The mailer can then decide to remove these address from their mail file, add "or current resident" to the record, or bundle the bad/uncorrected ANKLink flagged records for processing against the 48-Month NCOA database.
