Two New Water Stocks Added; Two Stocks Deleted from Janney Global Water Index℠ in Quarterly Rebalancing
The Janney Global Water Index℠ (TICKER: JGI) will add two new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Friday, June 19, 2009.
New York (PRWEB) June 10, 2009 -- The Janney Global Water Index℠ (TICKER: JGI) will add two new components, effective 6:00 PM (EST) Friday, June 19, 2009. Two stocks will be deleted from the index, thus maintaining the fixed number of 60 components. The changes result from the quarterly rebalancing of the index.
The Janney Global Water Index
The additions to the Janney Water Works Index℠ are Artesian Resources Corp. (TICKER: ARTNA) and Thessaloniki Water & Sewage (TICKER: EYAPS GA), while Tallinna Vesi (TICKER: TVEAT ET) and Acegas SpA (TICKER: AEG IM) will be deleted.
No changes will be made to the Janney Water Tech Index℠.

The Janney Global Water Index℠ is a capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent water stocks in the world. To be included in the JGI index, stocks must pass multiple screens, including for capitalization, float, exchange listing, share price and turnover.
