The director and founder of the rapidly expanding online business, Dr Joel Akande, indicated that, to mark the opening of business in publishing, Myeexpert will be releasing its first book on 27 July 2009 under its publishing label of Strategic Insight Publishing.
He explained that, despite the ongoing global credit difficulties, "this is the time for businesses to reach for fresh ideas and to emerge stronger and hence Myeexpert has taken the initiative to inject new thinking and tactics into the business".
The 352-page book which he authored, he said, is titled, "Relationships: Caveat Emptor. What You Should Know and Do Before You Enter Into One… and After."
Dr Akande was asked, while addressing reporters, to provide more information on the up-coming book. He said, "While the title of the book speaks for itself", he pointed out that, "the book covers such diverse areas as marriage, co-habitation, common law relationships, friendships and business relationships in a new way and new thinking".
Taking medical and legal perspectives, Dr Akande who combines the two professions, said "the book deals with such issues as benefits/disadvantages of marriage, consequences of divorce, financial issues, and matters concerning in-laws, adolescents and children relationships".
The main trust is what the readers should know before getting into any relationship and what to do to make the relationship work, viewing it from legal and socio-psychological points.
Other matters that are covered include child abuse, domestic abuse, stalking, and maintenance of relationships, relationship agreements and what individuals must do to avoid painful failure.
He confirmed that the books addressed the vexed issue of why marriages and relationships fail or succeed in both personal and business relationships.
Addressing the Press in London, Dr Akande confirmed that there are other upcoming books and he hinted that Strategic Insight Publishing will be releasing some books in the Fall and Winter of 2009.
The books are on healthy living as well as mutually arousing words which he said is otherwise known as encouragement or inspirational words.
On the usual difficulty of distribution that new publishers encounter, the director of Myeexpert said his company has taken care of this as "the books will be available in main book stores in the USA and the UK, including Borders, Ingram, and Barnes and Noble, as well as globally in hundreds of online stores such as Amazon and Google", he was quoted as saying.
