AMP Productions Produces Opening Video for 2009 Dallas Videofest
AMP Productions announces the completion of the opening video for the 2009 Dallas Videofest. Directed by sixteen year old student Ryan Kline and produced by AMP Productions, this video will open the festival.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 5, 2009 -- AMP Productions announces the completion of the opening video for the 2009 Dallas Videofest. Now in its twenty second year, the Dallas Videofest now known simply as Videofest has been an outlet for getting both new and old work in front of an audience.
The video was written and directed by sixteen year old Ryan Kline under the tutelage of Videofest founder Bart Weiss and local Director of Photography Bill Schwartz. AMP Productions was called upon to produce and crew the sixty second video that would help open the festival. AMP productions reached out to local video professionals and houses to donate their time, efforts, and equipment all in an effort to support
Videofest and local filmmakers. Equipment was donated by MPS, MP&E and Panavision. "Dailies" were posted at 12Forward and the video was edited at PostAsylum.
“We have an amazing pool of talent here in Dallas,” said Amy Lou Abernethy, president of AMP Productions. “We think it's important to support grassroots projects like this--and fun!”
“This was a project that really brought together some of the best talent in the metroplex, including student director Ryan Kline,” said Videofest founder Bart Weiss. “I'm thrilled with the outcome and grateful that such talented professionals donated their time and equipment to make Ryan's vision a reality.”
"Working with AMP was a great experience. AMP's staff was great to work with and always available when I had a last-minute thought or concern,” said student director Ryan Kline, Without AMP's help, I could have never brought my vision to the screen."
Videofest 2009 will be held November 5-8 at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, Texas.
