Massachusetts Based Product Design Firm Introduces Innovative Home Medical Product Design for SentiCare at MD&M East 2009

Bleck Design Group, a Massachusetts based product design and development firm, will officially introduce a new home medical product designed for SentiCare at the Medical Design & Manufacturing East (MD&M East), June 9-11, 2009 at New York's Jacob Javits Convention Center.

North Chelmsford, MA (PRWEB) June 4, 2009 -- Bleck Design Group, a Massachusetts based product design and development firm, will officially introduce a new home medical product designed for SentiCare called the PillStation® at MD&M East, June 9-11, 2009. The PillStation® is a home based monitored pill dispenser to help patients take the right medicine at the right time. A scanning camera takes a picture of the pill tray contents and sends it to a call center. The call center compares this picture to the patient's drug plan to confirm medications are loaded correctly and taken properly. It is the first and only product to incorporate direct visualization technology into a product for medication adherence.

SentiCare conceived of a call-center based concept and hired Bleck Design Group to serve as their virtual product design and engineering department. Initially, Bleck Design Group helped SentiCare founders estimate product development costs and explain the product concept to investors using drawings and models. Ultimately, Bleck Design Group provided SentiCare with complete industrial design, mechanical engineering, prototyping and manufacturing sourcing services.

The PillStation® and several other products designed by Bleck Design Group for the medical device, healthcare diagnostic, and surgical instrument markets will be on display at MD&M East booth 426.
