BatchBlue Software Honors RetroRazor.com, Edamar, Inc. and Jitterbug.tv as Small Business Super Heroes
Second Annual Contest Recognizes Champions of Small Business and Contributors to the Community
Providence, R.I. (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- BatchBlue Software (www.BatchBlue.com), provider of the BatchBook small business CRM (customer relationship management) software, today announced the winners of its second annual Small Business Super Heroes contest: RetroRazor.com, Edamar, Inc. and Jitterbug.tv. Each of these businesses are in the business of contributing to the greater good of society and are determined to shine while answering to a call of duty.
The competition, which ran simultaneously with National Small Business Week, May 18 - 22, 2009, recognized companies that stand out in individual ways and are determined to make a difference. The application asked for descriptions of how submitting businesses embody the Super Hero code to serve their community of customers with integrity.
This year's winners are:
| | - First Place - Chadd Bennett, RetroRazor.com: A trip to a remote village in Italy was the setting for Chadd's Super Hero inspiration. This cool, vintage-style razor business offers a greener, cheaper, closer shaving product than commonly available. It won by a whisker.
- Second Place - Ed Basconi, Edamar, Inc. (KitBook.com): One half of the dynamic duo of engineers (along with David Jones) on a mission to improve science teaching and learning in schools and homes, Ed uses his powers to create a combination science kit for kids and textbook. Honored for striving to foster a younger generation of Super Heroes.
- Third Place - Dan Gelertt and Randall Green, Jitterbug.tv: A place for parents and young kids to listen to great, independent, hand-picked childrens music and videos (that won't irritate adults!). Parents everywhere breathe a sigh of relief.
