National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month June 2009, America's Cultural Celebration of Hoops and Hip-Hop

To honor the history, legacy, and 25th Anniversary (1984-2009) of the basketball and hip-hop culture fusion era born in 1984. June has been selected as National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month. The culture fusion of hoops and hip-hop is now 25, Welcome to Dunkadelic Nation.

Baltimore, Md. (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- To honor the 25th Anniversary (1984-2009) of the basketball & hip-hop culture fusion born in 1984 that is known now as The "Dunkadelic-Era" In America, 1984-Present. June 2009 has been selected as the first National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month.

NBHHCM (www.NBHHCM.org) the non-profit foundation founded in 2009 was created to promote the history, legacy, and 25th Anniversary of hoops and hip-hop culture in America.

National Basketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month will be broken down each year during the month of June celebrating basketball with the 4 original elements of hip-hop mcing, djing, graffiti art, and breakdancing. NBHHCM will begin on the 23rd of the 52nd week of each year. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are the 2 NBA stars that have worn and branded the #23. There were 23 teams in the NBA back in 1984 the birth-year of the hoops and hip-hop era.
