Alternative Energy - 250 jobs coming to St. Clair County, Michigan. ECG announces decision to locate an alternative energy manufacturing facility in St. Clair, Michigan. The City of St. Clair hopes to capitalize on its access to rail, port and highway to position itself in the alternative energy industry. ECG received a Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA) employment tax credit valued at up to $2M along with the City of St. Clair creating a Renewable Energy Renaissance Zone (RERZ) for their facility.

St. Clair, Michigan (PRWEB) May 29, 2009 -- Energy Components Group, LLC (ECG) announced today its intention to locate an alternative energy manufacturing plant in the City of St. Clair, Michigan. ECG serves customers in the solar and wind power industries, and expects to create approximately 250 new jobs and invest $20 million over the next several years with increased demand for production.
