Solar Power Industry Continues to Grow in St. Clair County, Michigan
Alternative Energy - 250 jobs coming to St. Clair County, Michigan. ECG announces decision to locate an alternative energy manufacturing facility in St. Clair, Michigan. The City of St. Clair hopes to capitalize on its access to rail, port and highway to position itself in the alternative energy industry. St. Clair, Michigan (PRWEB) May 29, 2009 -- Energy Components Group, LLC (ECG) announced today its intention to locate an alternative energy manufacturing plant in the City of St. Clair, Michigan. ECG serves customers in the solar and wind power industries, and expects to create approximately 250 new jobs and invest $20 million over the next several years with increased demand for production.
Bill Cedar, Mayor of St. Clair, said "this facility brings not only a great opportunity to the City by way of total investment and job creation, but also in the potential for St. Clair to become a leader in the area of Alternative Energy manufacturing in the future." The City of St. Clair hopes to capitalize on its access to rail, port and highway to position itself in the alternative energy industry.
