VISI CEO Mike Sowada Named 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year by TwinWest Chamber of Commerce
Mike Sowada, CEO of VISI, was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, a suburban chamber in the Twin Cities metro area. Sowada was honored by the chamber as Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005.
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) May 27, 2009 -- Mike Sowada, VISI's chief executive officer, was named the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year during a luncheon ceremony held yesterday. This recognition is the second honor bestowed upon Sowada by the western suburban chamber - in 2005, TwinWest named Sowada its Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.
Sowada says that the success of the company is rooted in the colocation and web hosting services it provides to 10,000 Minnesota companies and residences.
Sowada was one of three finalists representing hundreds of entrepreneurs in the TwinWest area. "It's humbling to be singled out for this recognition, considering the caliber of the other nominees," he commented.
