Destination Hotels & Resorts Launches Destination Delivers Customer Loyalty Program

Numerous hotel and resort deals available to loyal Destination Hotels & Resorts' customers through new Destination Delivers program.

Englewood, Colo. (PRWEB) May 18, 2009 -- Destination Delivers, the new customer loyalty program from Destination Hotels & Resorts, offers guests customized information to help them select the right property and the right vacation experience at the right price. The new program is not points based like traditional hotel loyalty programs, however it is designed to provide guests with dynamic travel-related content and vacation values, tailored to their personal preferences. Travelers who join the program at www.destinationdelivers.com by June 15 receive a $50 vacation credit valid at any property in the Destination collection.

This free program allows guests to receive a discount every time they book at a Destination property as well as special value-oriented offers throughout the year that are customized to their preferences. Destination Delivers members also have access to VIP guest experiences every time they stay at a Destination Hotels & Resorts property.

When guests sign up for the program they select the types of vacation experiences they are most interested in such as culinary, family, romance, spa and much more. Based on these preferences and additional information that is obtained, the Destination Delivers platform creates a customized Web page for each guest that features content they find of interest including recommendations for smart phone applications they may choose to download. A booking widget also appears that guests can download to their desktop for easy access to their personalized Destination Delivers Web site.

For example, a guest interested in culinary travel may receive information on properties in the collection that feature unique food and beverage programs along with podcasts and video content on the subject, user-generated blog information, as well as vacation packages. Links to smart phone applications such as Zagat to Go, Urbanspoon, LocalEats, Local Picks by TripAdvisor and Near + Now also are provided to enhance the guest's vacation experience and provide travelers with fun, unique information on things they find of interest.

In addition, once guests begin to book their vacations through Destination Delivers, the system uses a predictive model to recommend other properties they may enjoy based on their booking habits. This unique capability introduces guests to more properties in the Destination collection. For example, after a guest checks out of any Destination property, they receive an email recommending other properties they might like in the collection, plus a $25 resort credit toward a future booking.

In addition to the special $50 resort credit for signing up for Destination Delivers, loyal guests can win a complimentary trip for two to Vail, Colo. this summer. Through the Destination Delivers "Travel Correspondent" program, guests can sign up to win a complimentary trip to the Vail Cascade this summer which includes complimentary airfare for two, deluxe accommodations, a rental car and unique property-based experiences.

The Travel Correspondent program allows the winners to be citizen journalists for a few days and produce original travel content that will be showcased on the Destination Delivers Web site.
Vacationers interested in becoming a Travel Correspondent must sign up for the special giveaway by May 31, 2009. Winners will be notified on June 1, 2009 and travel must commence by the end of July.
