Ewaste Eddie License Available to Help Promote Ewaste Recycling, Awareness and Prevention
Computer Recycling for Education (CRFE) announced today a new licensing product campaign to promote its theme-character, Ewaste Eddie, in time for the transition of Analog TV to Digital Television (HDTV). The campaign features Ewaste Eddie's proclamation: "Remember to Ecycle-it."
Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 12, 2009 -- Computer Recycling for Education (CRFE) announced today a new licensing product campaign to promote its theme-character, Ewaste Eddie, in time for the transition of Analog TV to Digital Television (HDTV). The campaign features Ewaste Eddie's proclamation: "Remember to Ecycle-it."
"In 2007, Al Chaney, President/CEO of CRFE, moved his company from Sacramento to Austin, bringing with him his environmental green elephant, Ewaste Eddie," explained Linda Moyé, Vice President for Marketing and Communications. "Our goal is for Ewaste Eddie to become universally recognized as the icon for computer recycling and ewaste prevention," said Mr. Chaney. Government agencies, recyclers, computer and electronics manufacturers, retailers, nonprofit refurbishers, environmental groups, and colleges are encouraged to license Ewaste Eddie for their ewaste programs to increase awareness of ewaste recycling and prevention. Ewaste Eddie can be licensed for a variety of applications including but not limited to; bill inserts, redemption coupons, posters, banners, fliers, comic books, curriculum, environmental education, educational software, consumer education campaigns, plush dolls, toys, board games, cartoons, apparel, public service announcements, theme parks, and much more.
