Merocune Marketing & Public Relations, a marketing and development communications firm based in Northern New Jersey, whose focus is on building community awareness, brand equity, and financial sustainability for its clients, announces year end results.

Randolph, NJ (PRWEB) January 9, 2008 -- Merocune Marketing & Public Relations, a marketing and development communications firm based in Northern New Jersey, has completed its second profitable year. In 2007, the company doubled the number of nonprofit organizations and small businesses it assisted in achieving their missions, and by doing so, helped bring heightened services to communities in need.

Development communications, including grant writing, government proposals, and donor communications, has been the company's biggest growth sector. New areas of expertise include government grants and capital/endowment fundraising. Development efforts have been complemented by integrated marketing communications that include Web sites, brochures, presentations, media kits, newsletters, identity materials such as business cards and stationary, strategic and fundraising plans, and other volunteer or donor materials.

New clients include:
--   Stratorama (an international planning and performance management company),
--   One Earth (a manufacturer of world health solutions)
--   The Peer Foundation for Plastic Surgery & Rehabilitation (a foundation supporting international medical research and training in the field of cleft palate and reconstructive surgery)
--   Be Smart Tutoring (providing in-home, school, and other center-based academic support)
--   Return to Honor (a program of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, workshop led for and by war veterans that helps them with reintegration and readjustment after their return home and helps prevent the evolution of combat stress into lifelong mental health issues)
--   Strategic Business Alliance (a partnership to provide grant writing services) and its associated clients: Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County - Stevens & Smith Historic Site, Strasburg Restoration & Preservation, the Anabaptist Heritage Center of Lancaster County, and the Lancaster Public Library
--   NOVA Hope for Haiti (a humanitarian organization seeking to build a permanent medical facility in Cavaillon, Haiti and provide supportive medical and nutritional services to the most impoverished country in the Western Hemisphere)
--   Beard Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning (a service provider based in Flanders, New Jersey)

With these new clients, Merocune Marketing & Public Relations expands upon its nonprofit expertise in the fields of education and other youth and family services and adds veterans assistance, international humanitarian aid, health care, medical school/research, historic preservation, museums and visitor centers, and libraries.
